Text Messages: If you so elect, you may provide your mobile phone number in order to receive text message alerts containing product, event and promotional information (“Text Messages“). There is no fee from LVIP to receive Text Messages, however, your mobile service provider may charge you for sending and/or receiving text messages and air-time, as well as any other standard applicable rates charged by your mobile service provider. If you do elect to receive them and later decide that you would no longer like to receive these Text Messages, please see the Deactivate or Change Your Status section below.
Communications to Serve You: If you have elected to provide us with your contact information, we may provide you with service related announcements by email or direct mail concerning the Web Site or contact you regarding your customer service requests or questions or order status. For example, all registered users will receive a welcoming Email to confirm their registration. These types of communications are necessary to serve you, respond to your concerns and to provide the high level of customer service that LVIP offers its customers.
