For 125 years Hussong’s Cantina has been catering to fun-loving crowds. Today, you don’t have to visit Ensenada to experience Hussong’s, you can visit Hussong’s right here in Las Vegas. Known as the “Home of the Original Margarita”, Hussong's is perfect for quenching your thirst or satisfying your appetite with a full menu of delicious Baja-style Mexican food. Hussong’s Cantina became known as the “Home of the Margarita” because in October 1941 when the world’s first margarita was born at Hussong’s in Ensenada. Bartender Don Carlos Orozco concocted a mixture of Tequila, Damiana and lime served over ice in a salt-rimmed glass for Margarita Henkel, daughter of the German Ambassador to Mexico. While the Hussong’s Original Margarita is hard to beat, if you’re in the mood for something more exotic you can try the Cadillac, Jalapina, Lychee or The Swirl margaritas.
